Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and execution-focused Director, Utility Storage Projects to lead Exoben’s large-scale energy storage projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, managing and delivering utility-scale storage systems from early development to full operation.

You will oversee project execution, coordinate across teams and ensure systems are delivered on time, within budget and at high quality.

You will work closely with engineering, grid solutions and operations teams to ensure projects are practical and perform well in real-world conditions.

This role requires strong project leadership and the ability to manage complex infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead the planning and execution of utility-scale energy storage projects.

You will oversee deployment of large ExoGrid™ systems powered by LithioX™ and SodioX™ batteries.

You will manage project timelines, budgets and overall delivery performance.

You will coordinate with engineering teams to ensure system designs are ready for deployment.

You will work with grid and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with standards and requirements.

You will manage relationships with utilities, contractors and external partners.

You will oversee site development, installation and commissioning activities.

You will ensure systems meet performance, safety and reliability targets after deployment.

You will monitor project progress and resolve issues quickly.

You will support expansion into new markets by adapting projects to local conditions.

You will build and lead a strong project execution team.

Qualifications

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage. A PhD is preferred.

You have 10 to 15 years of experience in large-scale energy, infrastructure or utility projects.

You have strong understanding of energy storage systems and grid integration.

You have experience managing projects from planning to full deployment.

You understand regulatory, operational and technical challenges in utility-scale systems.

You are organized, practical and focused on results.

You are a strong leader with clear communication skills.
