The Director of Advanced Battery Research leads the innovation that will define Exoben’s future battery systems.
We are looking for a highly technical and forward-thinking Director, Advanced Battery Research to lead Exoben’s research programs.
In this role, you will focus on developing new battery materials, chemistries and concepts that improve performance, safety and lifecycle.
You will lead research teams working on next-generation battery technologies and ensure that research can be translated into real products.
You will work closely with cell engineering, systems integration and manufacturing teams to move innovation from the lab into practical applications.
This role requires deep scientific knowledge and a clear understanding of real-world implementation.
You will lead Exoben’s advanced battery research programs across LithioX™ and SodioX™ platforms.
You will oversee research in new materials including cathodes, anodes, electrolytes and separators.
You will focus on improving energy density, cycle life, safety and charging performance.
You will guide development of next-generation battery technologies including solid-state and alternative chemistries.
You will work closely with engineering teams to transition research into product development.
You will collaborate with universities, research institutions and external partners.
You will manage research labs, testing programs and validation processes.
You will ensure proper documentation of research findings and support intellectual property development.
You will identify emerging technologies and evaluate their potential for real-world use.
You will build and lead a strong team of scientists and researchers.
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science or a related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage. A PhD is preferred.
You have 10 to 15 years of experience in battery research or advanced materials.
You have strong understanding of electrochemistry and battery materials.
You have experience leading research teams and laboratory programs.
You understand how to move research from concept to real-world application.
You are analytical, innovative and focused on results.
