Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and practical VP, Autonomous Systems to lead the engineering and development of Exoben’s autonomous technologies.

In this role, you will be responsible for building systems that can understand their environment, make decisions and operate safely.

You will oversee development of perception systems, decision-making models and system integration across vehicles.

You will work closely with vehicle engineering, software and infrastructure teams to ensure systems perform reliably in real-world conditions.

This role requires strong technical expertise and a focus on safe and practical deployment.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead the engineering and development of autonomous systems across Exoben’s mobility platform.

You will oversee perception systems including sensors, computer vision and data processing.

You will guide development of decision-making and control systems.

You will ensure strong integration between autonomous systems and vehicle platforms.

You will work closely with software and hardware teams to deliver complete systems.

You will oversee testing and validation under real-world conditions.

You will ensure systems meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.

You will monitor performance and improve accuracy, reliability and efficiency.

You will identify risks in autonomous operation and implement solutions early.

You will support deployment of autonomous systems in fleet operations.

You will build and lead a strong autonomous engineering team.

Qualifications

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage. A PhD is preferred.

You have 12 to 15 years of experience in autonomous systems, AI or robotics.

You have strong understanding of machine learning, computer vision and control systems.

You have experience building systems for real-world deployment.

You understand safety, reliability and system performance challenges.

You are practical, detail-oriented and focused on results.

You are a strong leader with clear communication skills.
