Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced and execution-focused VP, Battery Manufacturing to lead Exoben’s battery production operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for building and scaling manufacturing processes from pilot production to full-scale facilities.

You will ensure that battery cells and packs are produced efficiently, at high quality and at competitive cost.

You will work closely with cell engineering, systems integration and supply chain teams to ensure a smooth transition from design to mass production.

This role is focused on execution, scale and operational discipline.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead the development and scaling of battery manufacturing operations across LithioX™ and SodioX™ platforms.

You will oversee setup and optimization of production lines for cell manufacturing and assembly.

You will design and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce cost.

You will ensure consistent quality control across all production stages.

Work closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are ready for manufacturing.

Coordinate with supply chain teams to secure materials and components.

Implement automation and process improvements to increase output and consistency.

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and operational standards.

Monitor production metrics and improve yield, throughput and efficiency.

Identify and resolve manufacturing challenges quickly.

Build and lead a strong manufacturing team including engineers and technicians.

Qualifications

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage. A PhD is preferred.

You have 12 to 15 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in batteries, automotive or high-tech industries.

Experience setting up and scaling production lines or manufacturing facilities.

Understand battery manufacturing processes including cell production and assembly.

Have experience with automation, quality control systems and process optimization.

You are practical, organized and focused on results.

You are a strong leader with clear communication skills.
