You will work closely with R&D, product development, legal, and external partners to ensure that Exoben’s innovations align with regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
This is a senior leadership role that requires deep expertise in regulatory affairs, strong understanding of global regulatory landscapes, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in navigating complex regulatory challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive regulatory strategy that supports Exoben’s business objectives, ensuring that all products and operations comply with global regulatory requirements for battery technology, lithium extraction, and EV infrastructure.
- Lead the preparation, submission, and management of regulatory applications for Exoben’s products, including battery systems, lithium extraction technologies, and EV charging infrastructure. Ensure timely approvals from relevant regulatory bodies, including environmental agencies, safety regulators, and industry-specific authorities.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable international, national, and local regulations, including environmental, safety, and product-specific standards. Stay informed about regulatory changes and emerging industry standards, and update internal processes accordingly.
- Work closely with R&D, engineering, product development, and legal teams to ensure that regulatory requirements are integrated into the product development process from the outset. Provide guidance on regulatory implications of new technologies and product designs.
- Oversee compliance with environmental regulations, including those related to sustainable mining practices, emissions control, and waste management. Ensure that Exoben’s operations align with environmental sustainability goals and meet regulatory expectations in all markets.
- Ensure that all products meet safety standards and obtain the necessary certifications required for market access. This includes compliance with safety standards for energy storage systems, EV charging infrastructure, and hazardous materials handling during lithium extraction.
- Identify potential regulatory risks associated with product development, manufacturing, and market entry. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure that regulatory issues do not impede Exoben’s operations or market expansion efforts.
- Oversee the preparation and maintenance of regulatory documentation, including safety data sheets (SDS), environmental impact reports, and technical dossiers. Ensure that all records are accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Exoben and regulatory authorities. Manage relationships with local, national, and international regulatory bodies, including environmental protection agencies, industry standards organizations, and safety regulators.
- Ensure that all product labeling, marketing materials, and technical documentation comply with applicable regulatory standards. Work with the marketing and sales teams to ensure that all claims made about Exoben’s products are substantiated and compliant with legal requirements.
- Support Exoben’s market expansion efforts by ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in new regions and countries. Oversee the regulatory aspects of entering new markets, including obtaining certifications, navigating local regulations, and securing market authorizations.
- Develop and implement training programs for employees to ensure that they understand and adhere to regulatory requirements. Establish compliance programs that foster a culture of regulatory awareness and accountability across the organization.
- Work closely with the legal department and external regulatory consultants to manage complex regulatory challenges, including product recalls, audits, or investigations. Ensure that Exoben has the legal support needed to address regulatory risks and challenges.
- Stay informed about regulatory trends, industry developments, and changes in global regulatory landscapes. Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on emerging regulatory challenges and opportunities that could impact Exoben’s business.
- Work with internal teams to identify opportunities for streamlining regulatory processes and improving compliance efficiency. Leverage technology, data analytics, and automation to enhance regulatory operations and ensure faster regulatory approvals.
