Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Marketing (VP of Marketing) to lead Exoben’s marketing efforts across its core sectors: battery technology, lithium extraction, and EV infrastructure. As VP of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that enhances Exoben’s brand presence, drives product awareness, and fuels revenue growth. You will oversee all marketing functions, including brand management, digital marketing, content creation, public relations, and go-to-market strategies, while working closely with the executive team to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
This senior leadership role requires extensive experience in marketing strategy, brand development, and team leadership, with a strong focus on the energy, technology, or industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with Exoben’s corporate objectives and supports the growth of its core sectors. Lead marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, product demand, and customer engagement in the global market for sustainable energy solutions.
- Oversee all aspects of brand strategy and development, ensuring that Exoben’s brand is consistently communicated across all channels. Strengthen Exoben’s positioning as a leader in battery technology, lithium extraction, and EV infrastructure, ensuring brand consistency across global markets.
- Lead Exoben’s digital marketing efforts, including online campaigns, social media presence, SEO/SEM, and content marketing. Develop and implement a data-driven digital strategy that drives website traffic, customer engagement, and lead generation.
- Collaborate with the product development and sales teams to create go-to-market strategies for new product launches. Develop messaging, positioning, and campaigns that clearly communicate the value of Exoben’s products to key target audiences, including B2B and B2C customers.
- Lead Exoben’s public relations strategy, managing relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and key stakeholders. Ensure that Exoben is positioned as a thought leader in the sustainable energy industry by securing high-profile media placements and speaking engagements.
- Develop and execute demand generation programs that create a strong pipeline of qualified leads for the sales team. Implement lead nurturing strategies to move prospects through the sales funnel, ensuring alignment between marketing and sales.
- Oversee the tracking and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Use data analytics to optimize marketing spend, improve conversion rates, and ensure a strong return on investment (ROI) for all marketing initiatives.
- Lead market research efforts to gather insights into customer needs, market trends, and competitive positioning. Use these insights to inform marketing strategies and product development initiatives, ensuring that Exoben’s offerings meet market demands.
- Plan and execute Exoben’s presence at key industry events, conferences, and trade shows. Develop event marketing strategies that build brand awareness, showcase Exoben’s products, and generate leads. Oversee the creation of compelling booth designs, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Work closely with the sales team to create marketing materials, product collateral, and sales tools that support the sales process. Ensure that sales teams are equipped with the messaging, case studies, and product information they need to close deals and drive revenue growth.
- Oversee all corporate communications, including internal communications, investor communications, and public-facing announcements. Ensure that messaging is consistent, clear, and aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.
- Develop and promote thought leadership content that positions Exoben as an expert in the sustainable energy field. Oversee the creation of white papers, case studies, blogs, and other content that showcases Exoben’s expertise in battery technology, lithium extraction, and EV infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the business development team to support partnerships and alliances that drive joint marketing efforts. Work with external partners, including industry organizations, technology providers, and research institutions, to co-market products and solutions.
- Leverage the latest marketing technologies and tools to enhance Exoben’s marketing efforts. Implement marketing automation, CRM systems, and data analytics platforms to improve customer segmentation, targeting, and personalization.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team. Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and collaboration within the marketing department, ensuring that the team is aligned with Exoben’s growth objectives. Work closely with the CEO, CFO, VP of Sales, and other senior leaders to ensure that marketing strategies support business goals. Provide regular updates on marketing performance, budget allocation, and market trends to the executive team.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration (MBA), or a related discipline is highly preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of senior-level marketing experience, preferably in the energy, technology, or industrial sectors. Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and brand awareness.
- Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand management, product marketing, and go-to-market strategies. Expertise in B2B and B2C marketing, with experience in global markets.
Preferred qualifications
- Advanced Degree: Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Marketing.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP), Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) certification, or Certified Product Marketing Manager (CPMM).
- Industry Experience: Extensive experience in the energy, technology, or industrial sectors, with a focus on battery technology, lithium extraction, or EV infrastructure.
